FAQ: Protective Liner

Q: Is liner essential for Brick Premium beds?
A: Larch is naturally rot-resistant, so liner is optional but extends life from 15-20 to 25+ years.

Q: Will roots grow through the liner?
A: No, is impenetrable. Roots stay in the soil where they belong.

Q: Does liner prevent drainage?
A: No! The dimpled design plus open bottom ensures perfect drainage.

Q: How much liner do I need?
A: Measure inside perimeter × height + 10% for overlaps.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this product last?

The Brick Premium system is made from 60mm thick European red larch (Larix decidua), a naturally rot-resistant hardwood rated durability class 3-4. Without any chemical treatment, it lasts 15-25 years. With proper soil drainage, many installations exceed 20 years.

Do I need tools for assembly?

No power tools needed. The Brick Premium system assembles like LEGO — stack the blocks, insert wooden connector pegs, and tap with a rubber mallet. A standard rectangular bed takes under 60 minutes. L-shape and U-shape configurations may take slightly longer.

Where do you ship and how long does delivery take?

We ship across the EU: Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Denmark, and Belgium. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days depending on destination. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

What makes Brick Premium different from other raised beds?

Brick Premium uses 60mm thick European red larch — naturally rot-resistant for a 15-25 year lifespan without chemical treatment. The modular block system assembles like LEGO with no tools needed, and you can extend or reconfigure the bed at any time.

Can I expand or reconfigure my Brick Premium bed later?

Yes — that is one of the biggest advantages. Add blocks vertically for more height, or extend horizontally for a larger footprint. You can even disassemble and rebuild in a different shape (rectangle, L-shape, U-shape) without any damage to the blocks.

Can I design a custom size?

Yes! Use our free online 3D configurator to design any custom dimensions. Choose your shape, set exact measurements, add accessories, and get instant pricing — no registration needed.

How much soil do I need?

Calculate: length × width × height (in meters) = cubic meters of soil. For example, a 120×60×40 cm bed needs approximately 288 liters. We recommend a mix of 50% quality topsoil, 30% compost, and 20% drainage material (perlite or vermiculite).
