Yes, untreated larch naturally turns silver-grey over time due to UV exposure. This is completely normal and does not affect the wood's durability or structural integrity — it's purely cosmetic. The wood remains just as strong and rot-resistant whether it's its original reddish-brown or weathered grey.

If you prefer to maintain the original warm color, simply apply a wood oil or stain 1–2 times per year (depending on the product used and sun exposure). Any quality exterior wood oil will work. This is entirely optional — many customers love the natural silver patina.

Premium beds last 15+ years without any maintenance, and 25+ years with a protective liner and occasional oiling. They use European larch — naturally rot-resistant wood that requires no chemical treatment. The protective liner shields the wood from constant soil moisture, and occasional oiling preserves the original color while adding extra protection.

Our Garden Furniture collection includes solid benches, a bench with a built-in planter, a block table, a full seating set (a table with two benches) and a U-shaped fire-pit seating arrangement. Every piece is built from the same 60mm European larch Brick Premium blocks as our raised beds — they stack and lock together with wooden pegs, so the look, durability and tool-free assembly are identical. No screws, glue, cutting or power tools. Smaller benches are ready in well under an hour; larger items such as the seating set have more blocks, so allow a little longer and an extra pair of hands. Yes — it's built to live outdoors in every season. The 60mm European larch is naturally rot-resistant and weatherproof, stable in heat, frost and rain, with no need to store it indoors over winter. Left untreated it weathers to an elegant silver-grey patina — purely cosmetic, with no effect on strength. If you prefer to keep the warm honey tone, brush on a clear larch or teak oil once or twice a year. Either way, the wood needs no sealing to last.

Plenty. Each piece is built from solid 60mm larch blocks locked together with wooden pegs, giving a heavy, rigid, low structure that doesn't wobble like lightweight flat-pack furniture. The benches and seating are made for comfortable, everyday adult use. If you need extra reinforcement or an unusually large span, just ask and we can adapt the layout.

Yes. The sandbox is made from the same solid, untreated 60mm European larch as our other products — no chemical pressure-treatment, just naturally rot-resistant wood. The blocks form a heavy, stable base with a wide, smoothly finished seating edge and no sharp metal joints within children's reach. As with any outdoor play product, we recommend adult supervision. Kids' Garden World is a growing range, with more play and seating products to come.

Sand isn't included — use clean, washed children's play sand. Fill it to roughly 10–15 cm; you can estimate the amount from the sandbox's internal dimensions and that depth. We recommend lining the base with geotextile (landscape fabric) before adding the sand: it keeps the sand separate from the ground while letting rainwater drain away.

We recommend using a rubber mallet with a wooden board or larger flat surface placed between the mallet and the piece being tapped in - this distributes the force evenly and prevents damage. If you don't have a rubber mallet, a regular hammer works too, just always use a protective board in between.

It depends on the project. If the ground is leveled and prepared, the actual assembly goes quickly - a typical bed can be done in under 60 minutes. However, large and complex projects with multiple beds can take many hours or even several days.
