Terms & Conditions
Effective from January 1, 2026
Article I – General Provisions
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations of the contracting parties arising from a purchase contract concluded remotely through the online store www.gridgarden.eu (hereinafter "e-shop").

1.4 The Buyer is a natural or legal person who purchases goods through the e-shop.
1.5 A Consumer is a natural person who, when concluding and performing the contract, does not act within the scope of their business activity.
Article II – Order and Contract Conclusion
2.1 The buyer's order constitutes an offer to conclude a purchase contract. The purchase contract is concluded at the moment the seller's binding confirmation of the order is delivered to the buyer's email address.
2.2 By submitting an order, the buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions, agree with them and accept them in full.
2.3 The seller reserves the right to refuse an order in case of sold-out goods, incorrectly stated price, or other serious reasons.
2.4 The buyer may cancel an order without any sanctions until it is dispatched.
Article III – Prices and Payment Terms
3.1 All prices on the e-shop are final. The seller is not a VAT payer, therefore VAT is not applied.
3.2 Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are shown separately at checkout.
3.3 Accepted payment methods:
- Visa and Mastercard payment cards (secured via Shopify Payments)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
3.4 Payment is due in full before the goods are dispatched.
Article IV – Delivery Terms
4.1 Goods are dispatched within 5-10 business days of receiving payment, unless otherwise stated.
4.2 In case of unavailability of goods or extended delivery time, the buyer will be informed immediately.
4.3 Ownership of the goods passes to the buyer upon receipt of the goods and full payment of the purchase price.
4.4 Risk of damage to the goods passes to the buyer upon receipt of the goods.
Article V – Right of Withdrawal
5.1 The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
5.2 The goods must be returned unused, undamaged, in original packaging and with complete accessories.
5.3 The withdrawal period is preserved if the buyer sends the withdrawal notice before its expiry.
5.4 The seller will refund all payments to the buyer within 14 days of receiving the returned goods to the original payment method.
5.5 Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
5.6 The buyer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract in cases specified by applicable consumer protection laws (e.g., custom-made products).
Article VI – Liability for Defects and Warranty
6.1 The seller is liable for defects that the sold goods have upon receipt by the buyer.
6.2 The warranty period is 24 months and starts from the date of receipt of the goods.
6.3 The buyer is obliged to inspect the goods upon receipt and immediately notify the carrier and seller of any obvious damage.
6.4 A claim must be made without undue delay after discovering the defect, at the latest before the warranty period expires.
6.5 The seller will process the claim within 30 days of its submission.
Article VII – Personal Data Protection
7.1 The seller processes the buyer's personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.
7.2 Detailed information about personal data processing is available in the Privacy Policy document.
Article VIII – Alternative Dispute Resolution
8.1 The consumer has the right to contact the seller with a request for remedy if they are not satisfied with how the claim was handled or believe the seller has violated their rights.
8.2 The consumer has the right to submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to an alternative dispute resolution body under applicable laws.
8.3 For EU consumers: The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
8.4 Consumers may also use the ODR platform for online dispute resolution.
Article IX – Final Provisions
9.1 These Terms and Conditions are valid and effective from January 1, 2026.
9.2 The seller reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions. The current version is always available on the e-shop.
9.3 Relationships not regulated by these Terms and Conditions are governed by the relevant legal regulations of the Slovak Republic.
9.4 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity, effectiveness or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
