Rectangular raised bed

When it fits

  • A first bed, or several beds in rows — the easiest to plan and to add to later.
  • Vegetables, strawberries and flowers; you reach the plants from both long sides.
  • Open space on the lawn, along a fence or on a patio.

What to consider when placing it

  • Leave a path around the bed wide enough for a wheelbarrow or a mower.
  • Against a wall or fence you only reach the back across the bed — choose a narrower bed there.
  • Put it in a sunny spot; plant tall crops on the north side so they do not shade the lower ones.

Frequently asked questions

What is a modular rectangular raised bed?

It is a raised garden bed assembled from prefabricated 60 mm European larch panels joined with snap-in connectors. You choose the length, width and height in 60 mm steps — there are no fixed sizes.

What sizes can I choose?

Any rectangle in 60 mm increments. Popular sizes run from 120 × 60 cm to 240 × 120 cm, with a height of 2 to 13 courses (12 to 78 cm).

What material are the beds made of?

60 mm European larch (Larix) — a naturally durable, weather-resistant wood with a lifespan of 15–25 years — 25+ with good drainage and no standing water.

How do I find out the exact price?

The free 3D planner shows the full bill of materials and the exact price in euros as you change the dimensions.

Do I need tools to assemble it?

No. The panels click together with connectors — no screws and no tools. Most beds go together in under an hour.
